BIOGRAFIA

Graduated from ESCAC (Cinema and Audiovisual School of Catalonia) where she specializes in editing. Later she did the postgraduate exchange in Documentary taken in CCC Film Training Center of Mexico.

She stays in Mexico for the next 11 years until she returns to Mallorca. She develops her career as a film editor working for various fiction and documentary projects in different countries of Latin America and Spain, awarded at various national and international festivals.

Some of the films in which she participates as an editor are: The Chosen Ones (Las elegidas) by David Pablos, selected in Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival for which she is nominated to an Ariel (Mexican Film Academy Award) as best editing in 2016; Everybody loves somebody by Catalina Aguilar Mastreta; Dust (Polvo) by Julio Hernández Cordón (best pictures in 2012 Toulouse Latin America Film Festival and 2012 Jury Special Mention at the Valdivia Festival); We All Want What’s Best for Her (Tots volem el millor per ella) by Mar Coll; Family Tour by Liliana Torres (Best European Film at 2014 Europe Crossing Borders and Critics Award at 2013 REC TARRAGONA); María (María y los demás) by Nely Reguera (best picture at 2017 Ibero-American Competition Miami Film Festival, 2017 Goya Awards, 2017 Feroz Awards, Jury Prize for Criticism and Jury Mention at 2016 Rec); Los ausentes by Nicolás Pereda and La cuerda floja by Núria Ibáñez (Award winner at 2010 Switzerland Regarde Neufs, Visions du Réel, and Official Selection at IDFA International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam).

Her last Works since returning to Spain are: City of the dead (La ciutat dels morts) by Miguel Eek (best picture and best script at 2019 Mallorca Film Awards, 2019 Ciutat de Palma Award, best documentary at Som Lleida de Cinema, best balear picture at NYC Film Infest, special mention at Makedox); One talking about this (Els ulls s’aturen de créixer) by Javier García Lerín (Best Musical Documentary Prize and audience award at 2018 IN-EDIT BARCELONA Festival, nominations at 2019 Mallorca Cinema Awards and award at 2018 Ciutat de Palma d’Audiovisuals); the Dominican film Miriam lies (Miriam miente) by Natalia Cabral y Oriol Estrada (at 4 Latin American Film Festival at Huelva –  Colón de Oro best picture, 54 Karlovy Vary Internacional Film Festival – Special Mention of the Ecumenical Jury and 56 Gijón International Film Festival – ALMA award for best script for a spanish film) and the series Kill the Father (Matar al padre) by Mar Coll.
