BIOGRAFÍA

Cultural Manager and Filmmaker.Originary from Chilean, she was born in Madrid and grew up in Cuba. She studied Engineering in Havana, Cinematography at EICTV in San Antonio de los Baños and Film Distribution at ECAM, Madrid. Until 2019 she has been artistic co-director of DOCUMENTAMADRID, International Documentary Film Festival, in its last three editions.

She has been working professionally in the audiovisual field since 1993 on film shoots and at film festivals until 2011. She has been coordinator and programmer in DocumentaMadrid, FIDOCS (Santiago de Chile), MiradasDoc (Tenerife), Festival de Málaga and others.In 2007 she founded DOCMA, the Documentary Film Association, which she leads until 2016, where she directs and coordinates multiple seminars and screenings with international figures.

She has programmed documentary films at Filmoteca Española, Matadero Madrid, Casa de América, Sala Berlanga and others. In 2012 she creates the festival / 3XDOC / Encuentro de Creadores, which she currently directs. She has participated as jury in film festivals (DocsMx, Kerala IDSFF, Morelia Mexico, Seminci Valladolid, etc.) and collaborates as an advisor for film funds, as well as in project evaluation committees.
