As a director, screenwriter and producer, his audiovisual works such as the feature length documentary “The Sweet Taste of Success” (2021), the non-fiction short film “ALMAmATER” (2014), the documentary short film “Nobody Like Athens” (2013), the official video of World Water Day, (2012 – FAO United Nations) or the video Far West Luanda Report (2010), have received 27 selections and 3 awards at international festivals.
As a writer and photojournalist for the past 17 years, his reports have been published in text, photography and video in the main media of Spain, Italy, UK, US or Portugal among others: L’Espresso, the magazine of Corriere della Sera (Italy); El País Semanal, XL Semanal, Rolling Stone (Spain); Guardian (UK); Foreign Policy (US); Exame (Portugal). His images have been distributed by agencies like AP, Contact, Notimex and published by Lunwerg Editors of Grupo Planeta.
He’s a published author by the renowned Italian publishing house Feltrinelli, where he published his investigation and essay about the social low-cost phenomenon with “The Tour of Europe with €30”.

Kantfish also explores other aspects of arts and communication. He is a visual artist with digital artworks represented by various galleries and acquired by international collectors.
He holds a MS in Law (University of Superior Studies in Perugia, Italy), an International Master in Artistic and Documentary Photography in EFTI School in Madrid (Spain), and many other diplomas that complete his education. Also a member of the Italian College of Journalists (Ordine Nazionale dei Giornalisti) since 2002.
