It begins with a dream about an impossible encounter between Avi Mograbi and his grandfather, Ibrahim, in Damascus in 1920. To make his dream come true, Avi turns to his Arabic teacher and friend, Ali Al-Azhari, and suggests making a film together. Mograbi weaves a narrative about filmmaking and identity.
