SYNOPSIS
Ben Rivers traces a journey within another: the shooting of Oliver Laxe’s fiction film in the Moroccan Atlas slowly dissolves into its real context. What begins as a making-of turns into a ritual drift, a trance. Chance, wind, dust, and the gaze of those present contaminate the staging. The film captures the moment cinema releases control and surrenders to the world—a gesture on the risk of filming.
