EDITING AS WRITING – THE FOCUS OF MAJORDOCS PRO 2023

Each year, MajorDocs Pro dedicates its edition to a theme or aspect of the creative process. If in 2022 it was home cinema, in 2023, the focus will be on Editing as Writing.

Editing is the most creative and decisive stage of documentary filmmaking, where films are corrected, rewritten and rewritten until they find their voice, tone and final form.

Filmmakers and editors from all over the world are invited to talk about the filmmaker-editor relationship, the challenges and problems of the craft and, in short, to pay tribute to this magical moment where writing and editing go hand in hand.
