BIOGRAPHY ENGLISH
Millán Vázquez (Spain, 1978) is co-founder and managing director of Agencia Freak · Festival Film Agency. He has been involved in distribution for 23 years, developing his work mainly around film festivals and markets. Through the years, the short films distributed by Freak have achieved thousands of selections and awards at all kinds of festivals worldwide. As an entrepreneur, Millán Vázquez has participated in the creation of the sales company Feelsales, the international film festival Cineposible, and the distribution platforms Feelmakers.com and Uptofest.com.
In parallel with his job at Freak, Millán is an eventual film producer, market coordinator and teacher. He has been teaching distribution at the EICTV School in Cuba and other countries like Italy, Finland, Canada or Costa Rica. Since 2019, Millán is active member of the European and the Spanish Academies of Cinema Arts and Science.

Millán Vázquez (Badajoz, 1978) es cofundador y director general de Agencia Freak . Lleva 23 años involucrado en la distribución, desarrollando su trabajo principalmente en torno a festivales y mercados de cine. A lo largo de los años, los cortometrajes distribuidos por Freak han conseguido miles de selecciones y premios en todo tipo de festivales a nivel mundial. Como emprendedor, Millán Vázquez ha participado en la creación de la agencia de ventas internacionales Feelsales, el festival internacional de cine Cineposible y las plataformas de distribución Feelmakers.com y Uptofest.com.
Paralelamente a su trabajo en Freak, Millán es eventual productor de cine, programador de festivales, coordinador de mercados y docente. Ha sido profesor de distribución en la Escuela EICTV en Cuba y otros países como Italia, Finlandia, Canadá o Costa Rica. Millán es miembro de la Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Cinematográficas de España y de la Academia Europea de Cine (EFA).
