For the sixth consecutive year, the real cinema arrives in Mallorca, focusing on the relationship between those filming and those being filmed.
The eight films in the official selection will transport us, but more importantly, they will make us vibrate.
Thanks to eight filmmakers, we will witness the search for an eccentric super-race at the North Pole; we will explore colonial memory in a soldier’s lagoon; we will see how
three sisters share inherited land at the foot of an erupting volcano; we will return to Palestine with an actress who fled three decades ago in pursuit of her dreams in Europe; and we will track and be tracked by Iberian wolves; we will clean up the house of a charming man who accumulates junk; we will observe twelve years of problems for a boy who becomes a teenager on the streets of Budapest; and we will
experience the confinement and longing of mothers in a Chilean prison.
In addition, this year we will launch a section of short films from the Balearic Islands, the majority of which have never been published, to highlight local talent. We encourage you to be carried away by this winding trip through people, places, and periods, where yielding to a different rhythm will be the ultimate act of rebellion.
