DOC-SESSION

Cooking Time

z-xUvCud

October 6, 2023, 2023 / 12:00 – 13:30

Estudi General Lul·lià

How long does it take to make a film? Some films are shot in ten days. Others take ten years. Experiencing the passage of time often adds value to a film, but it can also cause difficulties for its synthesis and understanding.

Time for creativity, production economics and balancing work and family life pose challenges for commitments between characters, filmmakers and films.

Four of the filmmakers in the official section direct films in which the notion of time is radically different. In this session, they reveal their experiences, discoveries and struggles with time.
