Between Portrayal and Construction

Three of the filmmakers in the official section will discuss their relationships with their films’ leading characters. We’ll find out how they approach the direction of their characters; how to develop a fair portrayal and when drama can lead to constructions that raise ethical questions.

They will share their experiences and dilemmas in dealing with complex and fragile characters throughout the filmmaking process.
