DO YOU LOVE ME
SYNOPSIS
An immersive journey through 70 years of images and sounds from Lebanon. Exploring the collective psyche of Beirut, marked by beauty, trauma, joy, and forgetting.
Why must you see it?
Lana Daher constructs a mosaic of fragments that form a vision of what the country could be. It is a journey into Lebanon’s past—through its many archives—that prompts us to question its fragile present and other possible futures.
The narrative oscillates between birth and death, joy and melancholy, inviting us to reflect on how to deal with the deep scars of history.
