Why must you see it?
In the summer landscape of l’Empordà in Catalonia, in its holiday ecosystem based on the world of camping, some teenagers live an unforgettable summer with intensity. A strange story told by the locals will explore their imagination and that of the film itself. As if it were a playful narrative labyrinth, the filmmaker Lluís Galter (Carcremada, 2010, La substància, 2016) manipulates and recreates a diversity of styles based on youthful experiences. He explores language and experiments with the clichés of the surreal, fear, the mysterious, the sensual, from an original home-made aesthetic, beautiful, outdated and fascinating.

His debut, Caracremada, premiered in the Orizzonti section of the Venice Film Festival and at San Sebastian, and his second feature, the documentary La substància, was screened at the Visions du Réel and Seville festivals. Trained in Audiovisual Communication at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Galter has combined film directing with television production.
